Selected applications for the mobility grants
The board of the E-MOTIONAL Bodies & Cities project has recently selected the participants of the first round of Mobility grants awarded in the frame of the project. A number of 8 grants will be offered as follows:

Kinga Kelemen, manager, director of Groundfloor Group Association in Cluj Napoca, attending the iDans Festival in Istanbul, Turkey
Miki Braniste, director of Colectiv A Association & of Temps d’Images Festival in Cluj Napoca, attending the Cypriot Dance Platform in Limassol, Cyprus
Catrinel Catana, emerging choreographer & performer, attending a dance workshop in Riga, Latvia

The board of the project united in Dublin during the first partner meeting of the E-MOTIONAL has been composed of Laurie Uprichard & Julia Carruthers (Dublin Dance Festival, IE), Elisabetta Bisaro (Dance Ireland), Mary Nunan (University of Limerick, IE), Ilze Zirina (The Association of the Professional Dance Choreographers of Latvia), Natasa Georgiou (Dance House Lemesos, CY), Leanne Hammacott (body > data > space, UK), Cosmin Manolescu & Stefania Ferchedau (Gabriela Tudor Foundation, RO).
The next call for proposals will be launched in December 2011. Applicants that have not been selected are encouraged to apply again for the next round.
