Cursul este condus de Filipa Dobos (Lalita), profesor certificat de yoga, si este deschis tuturor persoanelor cu buna conditie fizica interesate de a descoperi principiile si tehnicile Hatha Yoga. Nu este este necesara experienta in yoga.

Participarea la curs se va face pe baza unei donatii. Aduceti cu voi un covoras de yoga, mancare usoara si… un prieten.

Introduction to Hatha Yoga – Principles and Practice

Hatha Yoga it’s about a balanced life.
Ha means Sun, Tha means Moon.
Originally from India, the benefits are proved and Hatha Yoga it’s practiced all over the world, from the ashrams in East to the best health clubs in West.

WORKSHOPS

Based in the teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda these workshops summarize the yoga philosophy in 5 principles which make the complex teachings of yoga easier to understand. They were designed so the participants can have an independent and safe practice at home and also be able to join the regular Sivananda Hatha Yoga classes.

Today, the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers and Ashrams, are recognized by the International Organization – Yoga Alliance and are available all over the world where thousands of students can learn and practice Hatha Yoga in the Sivananda tradition.

It was in one of this Ashrams, in India, that Mircea Eliade, the well-known writer and intellectual, also learned and practiced.

With a regular practice, the participants will be able to keep a healthy body, a more focused mind and consequently a more realized soul.
Yoga is a lifestyle and when practiced with regularity, is about happiness, inner peace and harmony with ourselves and others around us.

WORKSHOP’S CONTENT

– 5 Yoga principles
– Surya Namaskar – the Sun Salutation
– 12 basic Yoga postures
– Pranayama techniques
– Relaxation

Sunday
11:00h – 12:30h – Class 3

14:00h – 15:00h – Aurora Community project presentation and cooperative games (optional)
15:00h – 16:30h – Class 4

LUNCH:
Please bring light, healthy, delicious food to share.

SUITABLE FOR:
People in general good health condition except they have medical approval. No previous yoga practice needed.
